Students in travel & tourism will be required to take the drone to a local tourist destination of their choice. There they will capture video footage from above that will be edited and have text added to it to create a marketing commercial for our county. This project will be done in collaboration with our technology classes, the local Chamber of Commerce, and the Tourism and Hospitality Bureau. Outstanding final projects will be offered to local businesses to use in their marketing and branding campaigns. The lesson tests students on use of technology, creativity, use of editing software, branding, and marketing, and communication skills.
