Allowing students to choose the workspace that works best for them fosters a more productive learning environment, helps them to work collaboratively, communicate more effectively, and engage in critical thinking. We are requesting a variety of seats, which include Jellyfish stools, Hokki stools, and Go Anywhere Chairs. We will allow the class to try out the different options so they can make a good decision when the time comes to choose a seat. We plan to use the seating options during the school day for silent reading, educational computer programs, writing, math practice and problem solving, etc. We will be able to teach our students about the importance of making a responsible choice that works for them.
