Learning to read can be a challenging task for many young readers. In order to interest children to want to read, students need to have an assortment of resources available on the levels of their reading abilities. That is another challenging task for teachers - finding resources on each child's level. The materials I picked out for my students vary in levels needed for a Kindergarten classroom. I will use these materials daily in small group reading center activities. Students will also be able to take the readers home in their communication folders to continue to practice their reading skills with their parents.
