As a hugely underrepresented and undervalued subject matter in schools, I want to bring the excitement of computer science into the hearts and minds of my students. In addition to having my students join the tens of millions of boys and girls around the globe that have tried Hour of Code, I would love to expand that opportunity into the innovative world of programmable robotics. This is about more than introducing students to the basics of computer coding - it is about using computer science as a catalyst for logic, problem solving, and creativity. Help me inspire the next generation of computer scientists, engineers and inventors by providing them with practical, modern tools for learning how to code. Products like Ozobots and Lego Mindstorms will engage students and get them revved up for the endless possibilities of computer coding.
