Hello! I am Ms. Belmore and I work at Hayden McFadden Elementary School! After working as a long-term sub in Kindergarten, I happily accepted my own K classroom and this year will be my first full year of teaching! I work in a Level 4 school in a poverty and crime ridden area of New Bedford, MA. This year, we will have an extended 190 day school year with extended days every day in hopes to become a Level 3 school. Our school has a very large population of students receiving either or both Special Ed and/or ESL (English as a Second Language) services. Teachers at HayMac are often times the only source of consistency in our students' lives, and we strive to make each child feel valued day in and day out. I am very much looking forward to making the classroom I subbed in my own and creating a wonderful learning environment for my students!
