Each day students are lead in guided reading instruction. Often they wiggle and wobble during instructional time. These chairs will allow them to wiggle around with the ability to still maintain to guided instruction. Having the wiggle seats will allow them the ability of movement while maintaining focus on reading instruction. Many of my students have diagnosed ADD/ADHD and need as much movement throughout the day to help them stay focused during instructional times. The chairs will also be moved during whole group instruction to allow those who need them to use throughout the day to help during all instruction and independent work times.
