The items in this cart will help me as a teacher organize my classroom better, which gives the students a better classroom environment to work in. By organizing the areas for reading and math, they are able to focus on the instruction instead of figuring out where to put their binders, books, etc. The 3 shelf binder storage center will give me a place to put their data binders that will simplify the area that I usually put them. The heavy duty storage bins are a great place to put the whiteboards, class sets of books, and a variety of other classroom objects when we are not using them.
The write and wipe lapboards give all of my students a chance to respond to every question, every time by solving the problem on it. It saves so much paper because they can erase after every problem. I can scan through the answers and help individual students who make mistakes.
The math manipulatives will help them learn why and how things work like the place value blocks, magnetic coin manipulatives and the See it Grow Plant Lab. This helps them understand what they are learning on a much deeper level.
All kids love to play games - and not all of my students have games to help their fine motor skills at home. The games in this cart will help them work on those skills. The Classic Games for Beginners gives us all fun things to do during indoor recess time. When it gets into the negative degrees Farenheit outside and can't send them out to play at recess, we need fun games to play like the Classic Games for Beginners, the Playstix and the Monkeying Around Game.
