Students today are very motivated by technology. I am hoping that with use of iPads I can help increase my students phonemic awareness and build their fluency. The iPads will be used during literacy centers. The students will be able to practice sight words and poetry on the iPads while I am working with students in reading groups. I also plan to use the iPads as a form of intervention for students who may be having some difficulty. The interactive capabilities of the iPad will be motivational and will help these students stay engaged and wanting to learn. I am hopeful that the use of iPads will help all of my students with their reading.

About my class
