The K'NEX building sets, circuit building sets, and virtual reality software will be used to start a Makerspace program in my media center. I would love to plan a weekly Makerspace project that provides hands-on learning opportunities for my students. The projects that are created will be displayed during Parent Night as well as on STEM Days. These students do not have the resources at home to utilize their creativity. These supplies will allow all the students in the school the opportunity to tinker and use their imaginations to create and discover. This program will provide them a learning opportunity that they will not receive otherwise!
