Because of Covid, my students are often being quarantined. They are in front of their computer while I’m in front of mine many miles away from each other’s. I try to explain objectives that must be handwritten, but often times, my students will have a difficult time understanding how I want the novel or notes annotated or how to elaborate sections of a paragraph because they can’t see my annotations as I explain them. There is no way for me to show them all at the same time what I’m asking them to do. I have often thought, if they could watch their computer screen as I annotated on a tablet, they could grasp this! Now is my chance! They could be at home and watch their computer screen as I walk them through the process from my tablet. The novel set has been long overdue as we have been taping them for several years.
