I teach for a Title I school in the city of Philadelphia. After working in the banking industry as a teller and later a teller manager, I decided to go back to school and follow my passion in education. I go to work everyday excited and inspired to make a difference. As much as I have to teach my students, none of that compares to how much I learn from them. They are creative, passionate, intelligent, loving, spunky, and absolutely the reason I do what I do. I am committed to my students in the community that I serve mainly because I grew up, live in, and raise my own children in the very same community.
