Our future matters! Our students matter! We are excited to begin 5th grade in our inclusion classroom and make use of these supplies during our daily classroom activities. This will be my second year working with this group of students. Our inclusion classroom encompasses English Language Learners as well as students receiving Special Education services. Using supplies such as construction paper, markers, crayons, and loose leaf paper, we will work alongside each other creating various projects and perfecting our 5th grade writing pieces. We will be able to enjoy an organized classroom by sorting our work into folders and crates. Our school is a Title I school with limited funds. This academic year, 86% of our students received free lunch, while 19% were living in temporary housing. Many of our parents were unable to provide our students with basic supplies such as pencils and notebooks. I have shared my own notebooks, pencils, and other supplies with many of my students throughout the year. Your donation will make a positive difference in our students' lives! With gratitude, Ms. S.
