The fifth graders at our school enjoy reading a variety of books and love to suggest titles to other students. What better way to allow these students to suggest titles to the entire school? Creating a book trailer!! Book trailers are a way that students can get a preview of a book before they actually read it. By having a laptop, my students to produce these book trailers they will have an opportunity to write, direct, and film in collaboration with a classmate. This will give them experience with creating projects in the 21st century, a true real world skill. This will hopefully awaken the next Steven Spielberg or J.J. Abrams.
