Integrating the core subjects with Science,Technology, Art, Math and Social Emotional Learning will help students integrate back into the classroom with face to face learning and digital learners coming back into the physical building. Students need to relearn how to build relationships with their peers. They need to practice working together to work and collaborate with each other. Modeling through literature and using hands on projects will give students the ability to work together and to create a community in the classroom. The literature will provide students a story an example to lead into hands on activities students that will provide modeling, listening skills, and teach students how to collaborate in a group and be sensitive to others emotions. Painting and scribbling on stones will provide students a smooth rock to touch when they need to calm down. Caring for others and being kind is a daily expectation.
