I very excited to be entering into my first year of teaching! It is a goal of mine, as well as a goal of my district, to have a classroom that operates through blended learning opportunities. Blended learning is the integration of technology based and teacher directed instruction together with the focus on success and student achievement. By using blended learning in my classroom I will be able to better serve the needs of my students in a more personalized manner. In my classroom, by implementing more innovative technology, my students will be given the opportunity to excel beyond the learning of a traditional classroom setting and will allow them to take more ownership of their personalized learning. I am writing to ask you for your help in implementing a blended learning environment in my classroom and providing my students enhanced opportunities. I currently will have 2 older traditional desktop computers that my students will have access to, but I would like to extend this learning opportunity to more students during station/rotation centers during literacy and math. My goal is to raise enough money to purchase 6 Chromebooks, 6 protective sleeve covers, and 6 pairs of headphones. Thank you for your help!
