Using these materials will help keep students engaged in their learning while providing students access to materials needed to practice inside and outside of the classroom. The use of Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will allow me to purchase digital resources for students to complete independently at home for additional practice and in the classroom for remediation and enrichment. Since interaction has to remain limited due to the covid-guidelines, these gift cards will allow me to purchase interactive digital resources for students to still participate in group work activities. The use of dry erase boards is essential in the math classroom, especially for graphing. Modeling these concepts on Graph Chart paper makes it easy for learners to see these concepts come to life and co-construct strategies to graph successfully. The dry erase boards for students will allow them to practice independently while saving time having the axes pre-plotted. My students come from low-income families, so some of the supplies on my list may seem small, but to my students could mean EVERYTHING for a successful school year! Every little bit will help make this school year amazing for my students, and I’m so excited to begin this new school year with them! Thank you for considering my project.
