My classroom invokes feelings of comfort so that my students can feel at home while they are learning. I believe in having students move around the room frequently during the day to keep lessons engaging and my kiddos' brains awake. A lot of my lessons are taught from the comfort of our classroom library, where students can sit with a pillow and stretch out while learning. Right now, my students only have a small carpet to sit on along with some sample carpet squares. Having this large, plush carpet would truly allow this space to be utilized to its full potential.
