I am planning to teach my students about ways to celebrate the holidays around the world. I think the more children know about diverse cultures and experience some of the traditions, the foods and decorations, it will help them to understand and appreciate others as they grow up. The holidays are not one size fits all and there are so many wonderful things we could incorporate into our own lives. Also, we will write about our "trips" in our passport logs. We plan to "travel" the world this month and experience tastes, crafts and fun!
