I teach in an open-concept, Montessori based classroom where collaboration and learning exploration is encouraged. It is a multi-aged, first through third-grade classroom shared with three teachers. There is a large range of learning abilities and modalities among my students. Their learning needs are met through the programs we offer: Montessori, Seeing Stars, and Integrated Learning Systems. My class would best be described as a community of learners. I am more a facilitator than a teacher.
