My students need activities that focus on phonemic awareness and reading comprehension, as well as math manipulatives to learn concepts in a more practical, hands-on way. These activities will be used during Learning Center times throughout the day, as well as during our whole group and small group instruction time. Your generous donation to our project will allow our students to learn concepts in a developmentally appropriate and fun way. Because many of these students will not receive instructional reinforcement at home, these activities will afford me additional methods of differentiation to ensure comprehension, as well as methods to reinforce the concepts that have been previously taught.
