The book, Dragonwings, I am requesting will be used in a quarter long novel study. Reading can be a struggle for my students. The novel studies in my classroom inspire students to learn about history and culture, while engaging students in high interest literature. By donating to my project, you will be providing each student with a high interest novel to introduce cultural diversity and help engage students in high interest reading. Each student will have their own book to read, improve vocabulary, and discuss literary elements. Each student will be able to read at their own pace, practice partner reading, and provide evidence for discussion and Socratic Seminars.
