Donations to this project will make a difference in our students' learning be enabling them to access key philosophical insights written by one of the most interesting philosophers of modern times: Friedrich Nietzsche. The Genealogy of Morals will improve their lives for the better because analyzing philosophical texts encourages students to ask questions about the world in a critical and engaging way. Our high school has produced some of the finest civic-minded students in America. Founded in 1836 - the second public high school outside of New England - our school has always had a philosophy class on the class roster. Unfortunately, this year our philosophy teacher retired, and I am afraid that the mainstay philosophy course could retire with him. A donation to our school will help ensure that philosophy is alive and well and our high school.
