Hello! I teach seventh grade English language arts at a small public school in a small town. Currently at my school, we gender group, and I teach all girls. I absolutely love it, and I feel like I have the best job in the world! Each year, I teach 60-70 students. 75% of my students receive free or reduced school meals. Our school is considered high poverty. Many of my students live in overcrowded housing projects. At our school, we do not have ipads or computers for all students like some schools do. We do not have industry partners either, but we do have a loving community and the best kids we could ever ask for! Our students perform awesome on end of the year tests, and though we do not have as much as other districts, we do not let that hinder us. Your donation will truly make a difference. Though you many not see it, you will have made a tremendous deposit in these young kids' lives!
