Donations to my classroom project will make a substantial difference in the classroom environment, experience, and students' lives. Giving students access to technology devices in an educational setting will open their minds up to new skills and knowledge. Most of the students I teach do not have the opportunity to use technology at home. Technology is great way to individualize student learning based on their ability. It is crucial that students learn how to safely and properly use technology. I will be able to teach them how fun and educational technology can be if done correctly. In today's world we rely on technology to open up our minds and solve problems. I want to teach students how they can find information or make new discoveries. I have done research on the best educational applications that students can use along with apps like iStation that our school uses for data. Everyday in the classroom, students will get a chance to work on iPads to advance their reading and mathematical skills. I will also use the iPads as an incentive for students to gain knowledge in science and social studies. During my student teaching in college I saw the impact technology had on students and I want that for my own classroom.
