Imagine the beauty of classroom book clubs sharing ideas to a variety of text through discussion and shared writing! This is a dream for my classroom and I am sure many others. With the tablets, my students can download many FREE text, through apps (ex. EPIC), that correlate to the genre or skill the students are being taught. The students having a variety of text at hand will allow them to transfer their learned skill to several text, versus only a handful of text that my classroom library can provide. This in turn allows my students to write and discuss with much more engagement and enthusiasm then before!
