I teach 7th graders the wonderful world of English in a small town middle school. My classroom fosters a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and problem solving skills. Learning is messy and recursive- it rarely occurs in a straight line. Only by experimenting, "messing up," exploring, and trying again do students truly own their learning. I rarely have a quiet classroom. If you stand in my hall, you will hear the busy hum of students discovering the world of literature and learning together!
