Because of their limited economic and /or academic backgrounds, my students don't always have access to various technological platforms. I want to provide them with opportunities to explore the world of technology through the use of iPads. The iPads's primary function will be to add another dimension to student learning. This will be done in a variety of ways. They will help to reinforce previously taught concepts and skills throughout the curriculum, ie. letter formation, letter/sound association, and manipulating numbers. They will also assist in building a strong sense of self by using them to become independent learners while learning to work in a group.
