My 5th graders are AMAZING! I know because my group last year was the BEST and those coming into my classroom this in August were once my 3rd graders! These kids are inquisitive, avid readers, bright, talkative, and learn best in an environment in which they feel comfortable, welcome, and where they are given options. Starting day 1, I welcome every student with a smile, high five or hug, and help them start their day knowing they are loved and wanted! I also decorate my classroom to create a place students want to be in, after all, we spend a lot of time there! The other choice I want to give them​ is the choice of which type of chair they learn best in. Some just want to be comfortable, some needs to move, move, move, and some want to be able to find their own space to work when needed. With your help, the seating options I have chosen will accommodate all of these needs!
