Sicily Island High School was very well known for the great football & athletic talent which did provide opportunities for those players. Many gained a collage education which now has provided them a successful future for their families and has contributed to society as they have gained their careers. SIHS has lost the football program in the 90's yet, have now had the chance to regain and start again with bringing back this well-known history of high school football. We receive NO funds from the school board office of Catahoula Parish due to the poverty in our area therefore we have to provide our own bus, meals and stay for away games. We THANK all the alumni who has each helped in acquiring a much needed football sled this year. However the need is very great. We will need 25 sec. time clocks and so much more. This year has got to be successful if we are to keep SI football program going.
