The wobble cushions will be placed in every student chair in the classroom. First graders have a difficult time being able to sit and maintain focus for extended periods of time. These seats will allow them to move in a way that is not distracting to other students. Students will be able to move using their cushion during any and all lessons. Indoor recess is a prime example of a time that my students need to experience more movement than the classroom allows. These cushions can be used to sit or stand on, so they will allow us to use them for exercise, as well as for seated type assignments. My students can even sit on the cushions on the carpet while reading around the room!
