This project will help provide resources for my classroom to make learning fun and motivational. This project will enhance my students learning opportunities and abilities because they will be given a variety of hands-on resources that will help boost their learning capabilities. These hands-on resources will be used in whole and small group settings. My students will also be provided school supplies, backpacks, and home to school communication folders that will also be helpful not only to the students but for the parent(s), also because many of our parents can't afford school supplies. This project will enhance the classroom learning environment because of the resources and furniture that was requested. I have been teaching 1st grade in the same classroom for 13 years. The carpet has not been replaced since I've been in my classroom. The kids will love a nice, clean, and colorful carpet to sit on during whole group instruction. My students will be very elated if granted this request by their teacher. Thanks in advance!
