My name is Monisa Mason and I am the Community & Business Coordinator for the School of Civic and Business Leadership, at John Marshall High School. My main goals are to help teach our students how to start their own business, starting with our own school based businesses and to provide them countless opportunties to be more active, engaged and aware of their community through service projects and community relationship building. Our business students recently started a school based coffee shop, Lawyers Cafe and will also be opening and operating a school based credit union, opening for the 2016-2017 school year. We are also in the process of starting a student landscaping program amongst many other future business endeavors. With the right amount of time, dedication, hard work, exposure along with a positive mindset, I am confident that we can work effectively for the greater good of our students!
