My students need a sensory table to create meaningful learning experiences through hands-on fun! In order to create memorable learning experiences, students need to be fully engaged and involved. Sensory tables allow students to create, manipulate and explore learning topics in a way that makes learning meaningful. This is especially important in Kindergarten. Students at this age do not fully engage unless they are "doing." This sensory table will help me bring high quality engagement to my students. This is my first year in this school and the classroom does not have a sensory table. I am asking to fulfill this goal because I know that I will miss the learning opportunities that a sensory table can bring to my students. Thank you so much for supporting me in making learning meaningful and fun!
