This year, my students and I have a goal to read 180 books for read aloud. (That's one book EVERY morning, to start our day!). I want to make this experience as meaningful as possible. Our read aloud books will allow us to have conversations about what it means to be compassionate, empathetic and grateful. Research shows that students who develop these 3 skills are academically successful. Being a Title I school, our resources are limited. I truly believe that books are meant to change lives. These read aloud resources will definitely change the hearts and the lives of my students forever.
