Leapfrogs are reading systems, with pens, that guide students to be confident readers. They listen to the story by gliding the pen across the words. Acquiring materials for preschool students can be difficult. They are not able to use screen technology. These interactive devices allow the students to turn pages and practice reading from left to right. Having these Leapfrogs in our classroom will benefit the students and allow them to sit in a safe area while reading. The Leapfrog will also provide our students with a sense of belonging. Most of our students have never seen or read a book. This will allow the them to interact with the story to provide them with a sense of independence. The leapfrogs will encourage the students to see books and stories in a new light! It will help the students practice the skills needed for successful reading. This will provide them with the love of reading for the rest of their lives.
