Donations to this project will allow second language learners to experience science in a meaningful way. Hands-on activities are engaging and motivating to children. These materials will allow students to collaborate together to critically think through problems and create a solution. I plan to use these materials during science centers. Students will work in small groups of 3 or 4 to problem solve and complete tasks. The Fairy Tales STEM packs will be wonderful to use after reading and studying the stories. It will help bring the stories to life! The Real World STEM Challenge Kit will challenge students to solve real life problem through trial and error. Design and Build Engineering Center will allow kids to solve problems by manipulating their building materials and critically thinking to get the component to work. I am so excited to provide students the opportunity to work independently and foster their creativity and critical thinking skills!
