This month is Hispanic Heritage Month. As a bilingual bi-cultural school social worker, I would like to read books that will promote awareness, tolerance, and resiliency for our diverse students. This will build resiliency in our Hispanic students and families as they can relate to the various books. I plan to share read aloud to each classroom remotely and share recorded read aloud books with teachers and caregivers. I would like to have materials that will build my library to be diverse and represent the community represented in our student body.
