I believe that bean bags will offer more flexible seating in the classroom that can help me build a more student centered maker space. I would love to be able to provide seating and offer cozy work areas that comfortably facilitate learning. The styles of seating I am requesting on behalf of my students would create an inviting space for students to use their energy to create, collaborate, and build upon ideas. I envision our classroom of life-long learners as a place where students will understand many facets of success and failure as they overcome any obstacle that they may be faced with. Sitting in comfort will help to make my students feel comfortable physically and mentally. Students will have their iPads to create while in my classroom. I would like for them to have access to chargers to be able to charge their device while in the classroom.
