Donating to this project will enable my struggling intensive reading students to enjoy reading by relieving them from the burden of having to read the words instead they can focus their attention on the comprehension and understanding of a text. Many of my groups consist of students with processing issues, ESOL students, audio learners, or students who just crave a new method of learning. These audio books will be used as one of my small group rotating centers. I am able to differentiate my instruction by allowing the higher students the opportunity to break into student led literary circles once the stories are completed. While the lower groups will create thinking maps and visual representations to share while I am able to work along, guiding their listening, pausing and repeating sections if needed.
