What is far more motivating to read to your next level? Why, using technology of course! While still in progress, my students need motivation to read as many books as they can while in school. Over 70% of my school's population are English Language Learners. Students learning to read in another language other than their home language need as much practice as possible. My students need iPads with reading apps installed to become more engaged in reading while building fluency, a life long skill! Reading offers these students wonderful opportunities for writing, speaking and listening practice in the English language. Reading also gives students a chance to expand vocabulary knowledge and improve grammar skills, while building their reading fluency. The benefits of reading are endless! I plan to use the equipment as a station. I plan to download Read With Me Fluency app for students with low reading levels and I have
