Hi and welcome to my class page! I am a first grade teacher at a Title 1, full inclusion school with a very diverse student population. I am excited to start something new this year! Each year I strive to do more to help accommodate students academic success and this year is no different (other than the fact that I can't make the necessary items.) I am wanting to change out of all traditional desks and chairs, into tables, Gaiam balls, pillow seating and other seating that allows students movement while working. I work hard to meet students needs without the needed furniture and items. However, I feel a cohesive look and feeling in the classroom would better meet their needs as well as help them to be more comfortable and relaxed while allowing them to be even more productive.
