When my project is fully funded I will be able to implement centers during my math block. Meaning some students will be doing their independent practice on the computers while some are in a small group with me. Having two Chromebooks in the classroom will also allow my students to take Accelerated Reader quizzes more easily. A lot of progress can be made in a shorter amount of time with the new apps and programs available to students. Having students be able to practice their new math standards is so important for mastery of the standards. When implementing technology the learning is in the hands of the students turning the teachers into the facilitators and guides. It's a great shift in the ever changing classroom. My students love to track their progress online and view their growth.
