My students (600 total - I'm the art teacher) range from kindergarten through 6th grade. They are very talented young artists! My students are also incredibly resilient. We are located in one of Philadelphia's most impoverished neighborhoods and many of our kids have been exposed to traumas such as gun violence and homelessness. It is imperative that our students receive nothing but the best resources and academic opportunities, as educational inequality is arguably one of the most pressing social justice issues of our time. Thank you for your support in providing our students with the funding necessary to make this a reality!
