My students need 3 HP Stream laptops. These computers will offer my students endless possibilities to learn about concepts, practice skills at their own levels, and demonstrate understanding of their new knowledge. Access to the latest technology will give students the ability to research, create, and share their learning with others. Students will be able to create original presentations across the curriculum using applications like Prezi and PowerPoint. Game based learning platforms such as Kahoot will increase engagement and collaboration during lessons. The children will be able to gain access to thousands of books through websites.
Laptops in the classroom will make it easier than ever to facilitate differentiated instruction by tailoring lessons to each student's individual needs and providing greater opportunities for enrichment along the way.
Students truly enjoy the time that they have sharing the limited number of computers in our classroom. Increasing the number of computers and involving technology in learning will put my students on a path that prepares them for college, their careers and bright futures!
