I have a wonderful group of students who are eager to learn; however, they often encounter various obstacles that hinder their learning due to their disabilities. One such learning hindrance is that currently my students are able to recognize most letter sounds but are unable to read words that make up those letter sounds; unfortunately, we presently do not have any leveled reader books in my special education classroom, which are vital to teaching these students to read successfully.
