My sweet babies need technology! Our school recently added another first grade classroom (which is mine) so I did not have the luxury of inheriting millions of things from a retiring teacher. I have a laptop and an ipad that I bring from home, but my children will use the ipads during center times as enrichment and intervention. Two students will do enrichment activities on the iPad's using school programs. I also have a child who needs an alternative to writing. A perfect example of how he would use the ipad is during center time. We have a Word Work center where the students write sentences, spelling words, etc. This is VERY hard for him, and he would benefit from being able to use a program for this time instead. ANY help for this small town teacher would be appreciated!
