The KingPad tablets will be used by each student in 5th Grade for the purposes of bettering their understanding of science, through e-readers and online experiments. Our goal is to put a tablet in each child's hand and teach them how to create projects, share ideas, and collaborate with each other effectively through scientific inquiry. Such skills will not only support them in 5th Grade, but far beyond into their adult lives. Some do not believe they will ever need technology. I want to show them the essential nature of technology in everyday life and give them opportunities to discover how technology can better their lives.

About my class
