My students struggle with reading activities in their regular classroom and come to me for intervention everyday. These students have difficulty with tasks that can be relatively easy for their peers. I feel that my job is not only to fill in the gaps in their learning, but also to make my lessons hands-on as well as engaging. To reinforce instruction I like to provide games and activities to help my students stay motivated and engaged in learning. Many of my students also have difficulties focusing and these activites help keep them on-task and motivated to learn every day. Their is nothing better than kids excited about learning!
