I am currently teaching in a Title 1 school with many low-income and at-risk students. We have a very diverse student population and therefore many diverse needs in our classrooms. Many of my students have significant challenges in their lives and therefore have to work harder to succeed. I want to do everything in my power to help my students to overcome these challenges and achieve and succeed to the best of their abilities. This year our district is facing a 14 million dollar deficit and funding will be an even greater challenge. We are SO incredibly grateful for any support we can get!
