It is no secret that children love to move around and communicate frequently with one another. I would love to capitalize on this by offering six wobble seats and a large adjustable table for collaboration. Currently, my students only have desks and common chairs as a seating option. My plan is to offer more variety to my students in the way of seating. Your generous donation will give my students more seating choices that fit their learning style and help keep them actively engaged. Creative minds need the freedom to choose and feel comfortable. I know that when I sit down to do my best work, I often try to find somewhere that is comfortable. I want the same opportunities for my students as they learn in my classroom. Wobble seats can create an outlet for students who like to wiggle while they work. In addition the large table allows students a large workspace that can be adjusted to standing height or low enough for students to sit on the floor. Being more comfortable in their seating will enhance engagement and conversation which is a large part of the first grade day.
